Black Youth Success (BYS) Inclusion, Belonging, & Access Statement

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are integral to the values and work of BYS. BYS centres the lived experiences of Black children, youth and their families in all programming, leadership, and hiring decisions, while remaining inclusive of other equity-deserving groups. We actively recognize, welcome and support the intersectionality of marginalized identities in all Black children and youth.

At BYS, we believe that we have a collective responsibility to speak up and take action to counter systemic racism and discrimination in all its forms to demonstrate respect, inclusion, belonging and dignity for all.
