In partnership with the University of Toronto (Mississauga), we created an experience for Black youth in Grades 8 through 12 and their parents/caregivers to gain a better understanding of career pathways in health sciences through hands-on labs and a career panel. Career panelists included Gloria Umogbai (Health Sciences Educator in the Infectious Diseases Control Division at York Region Public Health), Mulu Geletu Heye (Senior Research Associate at UTM), and Monique Munroe (Masters of Science in Health Systems Research Student).
